PTI was engaged by the Constellation Hotel Group, known at the time as Touraust Corporation, to design their new prototype Chifley Hotel property. This was their new brand targeting the 3.5 to 4-star business traveller. The task was to create a very efficient and economical building to construct and operate, which also providing a very pleasant, targeted “guest experience”.  The property consists of 128 rooms with public areas.

Our end Client for this property was Lend Lease, who through one of their property funds contracted to own the property on completion. PTI worked closely with the Builder to undertake and complete the work.

The property has since been purchased and re-branded as an Atura Hotel by AHL following our completion of their first Atura Hotel in Blacktown, Sydney. This being also that it had been our work on this property that had originally led Event to speak to us about designing their Atura brand.
