Peter is the Founder and Principal of PTI Architecture. His interest and passion for hotels started from an early age. This led him to undertaking his graduate thesis on the key ingredients that go to making successful tourism properties. After graduating with First Class Honours, Peter worked for a number of highly regarded architectural practices including Cox Richardson and Rice & Daubney in Sydney and Jacob Blacker Associates in London.
In 1991, Peter founded PTI as a specialised architectural practice for tourism and residential properties. Over these last 28 years he has designed and overseen the creation of many successful projects for a wide range of Owners, Operators, Developers, Financiers and Builders.
Peters approach is based on being at once highly commercial and highly creative in in our decision making and our work.
PTI Architecture’s work now spans all parts of the tourism, residential and managed accommodation markets, from hotels and resorts to serviced apartments to large- and small-scale apartment buildings and now a significant number of micro-apartment projects.
His work and that of the practice now extends to all other forms of management accommodation project such as student accommodation, retirement living and mining accommodation.
Peter remains involved in all aspects of our projects and is principally focussed on ensuring our Clients requirements and objectives are all being best achieved.
Lewis Lau

Lewis joined PTI in 2006 after 10 years’ experience at several practices in Hong Kong including his own practice where he specialised in the interior design of hotels, many of which were for major international brand operators.
Now with more than two decades’ experience, and having become a registered Architect in Australia, he brings his combined Architectural and Interiors expertise to all PTI’s major projects. His experience now spans hotels and resorts, many major residential projects and corporate offices.
With his passion for interior design and space planning and his attention to detail, Lewis is an integral part of PTI Architecture’s leadership and design teams, always focused on delivering optimum design solutions for our Clients.

Viet Dang

Viet joined PTI in 2006. He is an experienced Team and Project Leader overseeing many of PTI’s major multi-residential and hotel projects. He has a proven track record in delivering successful results and in leading projects from early design and development application stages through to construction. His design skills and attention to detail along with his organisational skills and commitment to realising optimum design solutions enables him to deliver excellent project leadership to many of PTI’s landmark projects. Viet also plays a key role in PTI’s Management team.

With nearly 20 years’ experience at PTI, Glen is a dedicated Project Leader whose skills and knowledge enables him to oversee and lead projects from start to finish and across a wide range of building types including multi-residential, commercial, affordable housing and tourism. Glen’s passion lies in construction and project management, and as part of the PTI’s leadership team, he contributes significantly in terms of the practical aspects of project delivery and ensuring client satisfaction.

Alexander studied at La Sapienza University in Rome receiving his Masters Degrees in both Architecture & Engineering. He joined PTI in 2014 and now oversees a range of projects that are under construction having guided them through their design and documentation stages. Alexander’s passion is to realise efficient built outcomes. His experience in Project Management has led him to become part of PTI’s management group.

Mikheila Garrochinho

Mikheila joined PTI Architecture in 2011 after gaining her degree of Master of Science in Architecture at ISCTE in Lisbon, Portugal. She has been involved in a diverse range of projects for PTI including private residences, multi-residential housing, affordable housing accommodation and tourism projects. Mikheila has led both architectural and interior design work for PTI on a wide variety of projects and is a key member of PTI’s Management Team.
