PTI assisted our Client from the initial feasibility studies for the site at the time of purchasing, to then develop a design and concept for the site, and then to source a joint venture partner ~ who was one of our other Clients. We then provided comprehensive Architectural services to lead the design team, gain Planning Approval, then providing documentation for the Sales and Marketing stages and then providing detailed design and documentation services and assistance during construction.

In the process our project team worked with Council to extend the runway of the local airport to be able to take larger planes, which also assisted us to createg a new viable major hotel for the town.  The result was to assist significantly to change Hervey Bay from being in the minds of many the ’access town’ for Fraser Island, to being a significant destination and “tourism town” in itself.

This property is another of the significant strata apartment hotels and resorts we have designed and helped to bring into existence.  This property also has a significant pool area and Health Club as well as Function Facilities, a bayside Restaurant and Bar and retail areas.  Altogether this has enabled the property to be one of the major resorts in the town.  The property has 132 apartments, the majority of which are 2-bedroom, most having 2-keys, and with sub-penthouses and penthouses on the top floors.

The design of the property works to express the special character and ambience of the site and of the town. Almost every apartment has a view of the bay and takes advantage of the northerly orientation. For more information please see the project’s website.
