Mantra Hotel & Apartments, Parramatta

Following the success of the sales and marketing campaign of the Mantra on Kent Apartment Hotel in the Sydney CBD, we for the same Developer, Builder and Operator team designed and documented this podium and 2-tower project for the Parramatta CBD, the main business centre of Sydney’s significantly growing western suburbs.

Consisting of a 140 room hotel with 94 serviced apartments as well as function areas, bar, restaurant and recreational areas, this property was developed to service the local market and also to open for the significant number of visitors coming for the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

The property was successfully completed within tight budgetary and time constraints, and was chosen as the base for the American Basketball Dream Team for the duration of the Olympics.

A significant task for PTI was to demonstrate to Council that the serviced apartment building would not become a residential building in the future. We successful in doing this and to this day some 20 years later, the property remains consistent with this use.

The property is now well established in the market and continues to operate successfully.
